Physical Examination​

  • Slowing of the gait and drooling - emerged after the introduction of oral antipsychotics

  • Flat affect

  • Poor hygiene

Positive Symptoms​

  • Auditory hallucinations: heard 2 “bad voices” and 1 “good voice,” with whom he conversed.

  • Disorganization: tangential speech

  • Paranoid delusions: believed his medication was poison and that his parents intended to harm him. Improved with current LAI use.

Mood Symptoms​

  • Anxiety

  • Depression: thoughts of self-harm due to the voices’ instructions

  • Height: 72 inches (1.83 m)

  • Weight: 180 lbs (82 kg)

  • Body Mass Index: 24.5 kg/m

  • Heart Rate: 73 bpm

  • Respiration: 18 breaths/min

  • Blood Pressure: 119/82 mm Hg

Negative Symptoms​

  • Apathy: loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities, music, television shows

  • Asociality: decreased engagement with his family
